Abstract
Ali Rıza Kudsi Efendi was born in 1304/1888 in Konya. He attended the lessons of Ah-met Ziya Efendi and obtained a licence. Afer having Rüştiye Tahsili (studying in Ottoman juniorhigh school), he became a mudarris at Konya Islah-ı Medaris madrasa in 1909 He lef Konya in1920 and went to İskenderun. In 1927, he opened a madrasa in Iskenderun Abacalı village. Hecarried out his activities here until his death on January 7, 1956 He has a lof of works. He broughttogether the lecture notes which he taught to his students at Islāh-ı Medāris and prepared a sep-arate notebook titled “İlm-i Ahlāk ve Ulūm-ı Dīniyye Dersleri.” The notebook consists of twoparts. It was named as “Ulūm-ı Dīniyye” section fom page 1 to 21 At the end of this section, the
date of February 25, 1913 was written.
